Jeff over at Scripture Zealot has tagged me with one of the current memes makings its rounds amongst the bibliobloggers.
Q1. If you were to be in ministry 10 years from now (whether you’re in ministry now or not) what would you like to be doing and where?
- Chances are I’ll still be in MInnesota 10 years from now. God willing, I’ll be splitting my time 3 ways between teaching part-time at one of the college or seminaries (Northwestern, Bethel, Crown, Concordia) in the twin ciites, writing and researching, and working with / at my church (Bethlehem Baptist).
Q2. If you could wake up tomorrow with a degree and all the learning that would have gone with it from any seminary which one would you pick and why?
- Ideally, I would love to have finished my M.A. in Biblical Exegesis at Wheaton College. (I loved it there!) Then followed up with a PHD program (not sure where), focusing my research on the joining together of manuscript / Biblical language study and technology. In reality, I’m working on the Master of Arts in Religion program through Reformed Theological Seminary’s Virtual program. I’m hoping to continue on in doctoral studies, but it is going to take me several years to complete my masters.
Q3. What’s your poison: donuts, beer, wine, pizza, chocolate, Twinkies, key-lime pie?
- Coffee from Caribou or Starbucks.
