Pamela’s Prayer – A challenging film about purity & dating.

I had the opportunity to sit down with my wife last weekend and watch Pamela’s Prayer.  This movie was released back in 1998 by Dave Christiano Films.  The movie tells the story of Pamela Bucklin from her birth to her wedding day.  Her father has set a high standard of purity for her and will not allow her to date.  Much of the story centers around the peer pressure she feels to date in high school.  The movie ends with her realizing on her wedding day, just how important her father’s care and protection was for her.  This is a must see for Christian parents who are unsure where they should stand on the whole issue of dating.  I’m confident many of us wish our parents had placed more boundaries and had set higher standards for us in this potentially dangerous area.  I challenge each of you to raise the bar and set a Godly standard for your children on this issue.  You can purchase this film for a great price directly from www.christianfilms.com.
