Shaun, I interned at CES for over a year and this organization is the real deal. Clients consistently remarked that they were treated with dignity and like real people by the staff and volunteers at CES and they make a concerted effort to meet tangible needs (food, housing, etc) and spiritual needs (through personal evangelism, prayer, and Bible study).

It was a good experience for all of the children & adults. We started off the night with somebody explaining all of the things that CES does and how it is important for Christians to feed the hungry, care for the poor, etc. They really do seem like a top notch ministry that is serving both the physical and spiritual needs of their patrons.
