Shaun versus the squirrel – Part 1

Today I decided to take on the task of getting those pesky squirrels out of our attic crawl space.  I removed everything, cleaned up the huge mess and was confident that the squirrels were all gone.  With that in mind, I sealed up the vent that they had ben using as an entrance.  A couple of hours later during dinner, we heard a loud thud up in the crawl space.  Surprise, there is a squirrel trapped in the crawl space with no way to get out.  I ended up opening the vent back up and soaked a few rags in amonia and tossed them into the crawl space.  Supposedly, squirrels hate the amonia smell.  We’ll see if I’m squirrel free in the morning.  For now, the score is Shaun:  0 and the squirrel:  1.
