I was disappointed to see that the app has only public domain Greek texts (Westcott-Hort and Tischendorf). It also seems a bit pricy for an app at $21.99.

Yes, the starting price may feel a bit steep, when we’re so used to apps in the $1-$5 range. In talking with friends that work in the Bible software space, there can be some hefty fees when it comes to putting copyrighted texts in a product that you’re selling. With that in mind, including a copyrighted text would most likely have forced the vendor to ask more than $21.99.

$9.99 would seem more appropriate.
