The Bible Geek Gone Wild blog first came about in 2005, when I found myself in a difficult position where I had to drop out of my graduate program at Wheaton College due to financial reasons. Just because I was leaving grad school behind, I didn’t want stop learning. My goal with the blog was to keep up a regular diet of reading books related to biblical and theological studies and to write about them. In those days, I ran the blog at ShaunTabatt.com. My blogging efforts continued there until I moved to the current domain of BibleGeekGoneWild.com in July 2008. For the time being, the old web site is still there as an archive of my early blogging efforts.
Shaun’s Bio..
Shaun holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Network Administration from Crown College and multiple technical certifications from Microsoft and CompTIA. After spending 12+ years in progressive roles in the IT software and services industry, Shaun founded Cross Focused Media, LLC. Through his company, he serves the small business and Christian publishing communities by providing strategy and implementation services for those looking to expand their reach through the power of web marketing and social media.
When not working directly with his clients, Shaun spends his time working on book reviews for Bible Geek Gone Wild and collaborating with his fellow book review bloggers and other social media enthusiasts. Shaun is a blessed father of seven children. His first book on fatherhood is in the works for the fall of 2012.
