The fall book review season is heating up.  Below are the latest review titles I received from my friends at Crossway Books.

HT: Tim Challies for pointing to me to this book trailer for Church Planter:  The Man, the Message, the Mission by Darrin Patrick.  I wasn’t sure whether or not I should read this book, but I actually started tearing up a bit watching the trailer.  It could be that I’m just an emotional basket case, who cries at the drop of a hat, but I’d like to think it’s because this book focuses on things that God is placing on my heart.    The topics Darrin is talking about in this book are critical issues to consider in our day.  God seems to be doing a great work and laying these burdens on the hearts of many men in the church.  Take a minute to check out the book trailer and seriously consider ordering a copy.  I’ll definitely be adding Church Planter: The Man, the Message, the Mission to my fall reading list.
