60 hours of theological training for $6.99 on your iPhone or iPad!

Posted by Shaun Tabatt  Published in E-Learning, Lectures, Video

Earlier this week Credo House Ministries announced their new Theology app for iPhone and iPad. This app makes their entire Theology Program available in a single app! You can learn all about The Theology Program at www.theologyprogram.org. The app includes:

  1. All 60 Video sessions covering our 6 courses (Introduction to Theology; Bibliology & Hermeneutics; Trinitarianism; Soteriology; Humanity & Sin; Ecclesiology & Eschatology)
  2. More than 2,000 powerpoint slides that can be flipped through while watching the videos.
  3. All 6 Workbooks. More than 1,200 pages of workbooks that can be flipped through while also watching the videos and slides.
  4. A “More” section with updating articles that add to your learning experience.

Considering that the full theology program goes for more than $699, this is a stellar deal. It’s like having a seminary classroom inside your iPhone or iPad 24 hours a day.  I can’t wait to get started. You can learn more about the new Theology app here:  LINK.

Covenant Theological Semiary Launches Worldwide Classroom

Posted by Shaun Tabatt  Published in Lectures

Covenant Theological Seminary has offered many on-line courses for free over the years.  They recently launched the “Worldwide Classroom”.  They have 20+ classes with downloadable audio and study notes.  I like the user-friendly layout.  You can check it out here:  LINK.  (Thanks to Justin Taylor for pointing this out.)

Daniel I. Block – The Burden of Leadership & The Joy of Worship

Posted by Shaun Tabatt  Published in Lectures, Old Testament

I came across these 2 videos last night.  Both of them are lectures that Daniel I. Block gave at Dallas Theological Seminary back in 2004.  The first is titled:  The Burden of Leadership:  The Mosaic Paradigm of Kinship, the second is titled:  The Joy of Worship:  The Mosaic Invitation to the Presence of God.  Learning from Dr. Block was the highlight of my Wheaton College experience.  Happy viewing.
